Eva May (Reynolds) Richardson

Biography:

Ms. Eva Richardson is buried in Ellsworth Cemetery in Westminster, Maryland.

The records documenting her life are somewhat sparse. Born in the summer of 1893, Eva was the daughter of Frederick and Narcissus (McCudy) Reynolds. The couple lived in Baltimore, although they are not found in the 1900 Census. We first find the family living is in Washington DC in 1910. Her father had died. She and her mother both worked as house cleaners, while her younger brother attended school.

During the 1910s, Ms. Reynolds moved to Pennsylvania. She married Mr. Edgar Richardson, a native of that state. They lived together with her mother in Delaware, PA.

Ms. Eva (Reynolds) Richardson died of tuberculosis in March of 1920. She was brought back to her hometown of Westminster and buried in Ellsworth Cemetery. Her headstone is shared with her father, and recently cleaned as part of the general restoration of the cemetery.
